A Message from the President

1 05 2008

Dear Wildflower homeowners, friends and neighbors, I would like to take this opportunity to provide some community updates.  After some negotiation, we are proud to announce that we will now be professionally managed by Alliance Association Managment, with offices located here in Austin.  Soon there will be a new sign posted at the entrance with the new managers number.  They are a full service association managment company that will be handling the day to day operations of the community, including accounting services, maintenance and covenant enforcement.  We feel that they will be able to provide a good value for us, while continuing to ensure that Wildflower is a model of urban living with the highest possible standards and value for all.

Please be aware that Mr. Armistead will no longer be managing the association, or representing the Board of Directors in any maintenance, accounting or covenant enforcement matters, including ACC matters.  Additionally, he will be stepping down as treasurer for the Association, with a temporary replacement to be announced soon.  When our next elections are held, a permanent replacement will be named.  While we are excited about the prospects of new managment, we do recognize the substantial hard work and efforts provided by Mr. Armistead over the last few years, as well as the numerous achievements that have been realized under his managment.  I believe that with your help, we can continue the gains acheived thus far and keep Wildflower the great urban community that it is.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding this transition, please feel free to contact us via the web.

Kindest Regards

Tony Lore

President and Director of ACC Matters

Wildflower HOA, Inc.

Update: New Wildflower Entrance

24 03 2007

Update: Apparently the acquisition did not include the entire frontage. This will delay the remake of the front entry. TexasScapes will still maintain the frontage while the particulars are worked out.

In case you hadn’t noticed, the Northtown MUD (work performed by Texas Scapes)has taken over the landscape needs for the Wildflower entrance and will be reconstructing a new entry for our neighborhood.

Thanks go to HOA board President Tony Lore for his help and insight in this new building project for our entryway, as well to the Northtown MUD for taking over the care of the frontage.

Reconstruction work should begin soon. Here is a mock up the MUD has come up with:

Chat with the ACC (Architectural Control Committee)

Have a project in mind? Whether it’s a building project or a big landscaping job, it’s a good idea to have a chat with the ACC before proceeding. Many projects have had to be put on hold or undone when some members are informing the acc after they are done or have already started. Save yourself frustration and headaches.
